Hiawathaland
Council Seeks to Merge with Bay-Lakes
Some of you may know that over the past
year, the Councils in Area Two, which basically includes the whole
state of Michigan, looked at their viability as individual councils
and agreed to join together in one large coordinating council for
the entire state of Michigan. Hiawathaland Council, which serves
the entire UP except a small section near Duluth at the far western
edge of the state, participated in the discussions but voted not to
join the new Council. Instead they looked at other options for
serving their area. Click
here for more information.
